Aiming to present all features and capabilities of these hardware equipmenys in a quick and effective way, Duetron FMS allows the system can be controlled from any point in the network with feature-rich user interfaces.

Software infrastructure is designed to be suitable for usage in both small and large-scale buildings like shopping, conference centers, hospitals and spor complexes that includes numerous control elements and dedectors.

DuetronFMS is able to run simultaneously in many nodes of the local network because of its client/server based architecture. Data, received from the fire alarm panel, is distributed to all workstations in real time by the server. Communication with the panel is provided over OPC, communication with the workstations is provided over TCP/IP ports.

Scenarios and processes that will be launched in an alarm situation, can be defined as required by the system administrator or an authorized user. These operations are executed automatically if applicable in a related situation and feedback information can be received from the log records at any time. Additionally, each operation which performed manually by users, is also saved as log records.

Software Components :

DuetronFMS Service:

Windows service application that runs on a server computer. It has a constant connection with the fire panel. Some of its operations are delivering panel messages to the system, producing alarm states, performing automatic operations, sending commands to the panel, etc.

DuetronFMS Server:

Management application that runs on a server computer. It provides user interfaces for all configuration operations and settings. It also allows monitoring the current status of fire panels and workstations. Additionally, log and alarm records can be queried with different parameters.

DuetronFMS Monitor:

Workstation application that runs on client computers. It is connected to the server and visualizes all the data coming from panel with a user-friendly interface. Sending command to fire alarm panel, tracking dedectors on the map, getting reports are also possible with this application.

Logical Trees & Maps:

Duetron FMS software supports Autocad map files for graphical monitoring of fire panel detectors and other equipment.

These map files can be for different sections like building, hall, floor, vb. They are uploaded to the database of the software with the server application and logical trees are created by using them to allow the operator to easily access the building parts.

While preparing the map files to be uploaded to the software, a hyperlink is placed in the file for each detector.During graphic viewing, appropriate icons will be placed automatically to these hyperlinks organized as boxes. The addresses to be given for hyperlinks must also be compatible with the address of the detector on the panel. In this case, when the map is first loaded into the system, the detector locations are instantly matched with the addresses received from the panel. If this matching is not possible, each hyperlink has to be manually matched with the relevant detector.

User Groups & Authorization:

DuetronFMS software allows the creation of different roles by defining any number of user groups and authorizing them through these groups.

There is also no limit for the number of users that can be added to each group.

Authorization types in the system:

• - Panel Authorizations
• - Logical Tree Authorizations

Querying & Reports:

In DuetronFMS software, all alarms and status changes received from the panel, as well as detailed records of transactions and events that took place during the operation of the software are stored in the database.

Reports can be obtained by querying these records with filters such as IP address, detector address, date/time interval, username and status values. It is also possible to save these created report filters for quick recall later.

Multi Language Support:

Duetron FMS software has multi language support. Turkish and English languages are readily available in the system. Additionally, another language support can be installed on the system.

The default language of the software is Turkish, if the language is selected as English during installation, the selected language will be changed to English by the installation application. However, this language can be changed again at any time after the setup.

The only thing required to upload a new language to the software is the language files in XML format prepared in that language to be used on the server and monitor side.

Integration Capabilities

Duetron FMS software can provide integration with other software in order to provide instant notification of emergencies and handling alarms in building management.

In this way, any dangerous situation in the fire alarm system, which is one of the most critical systems for security, is not only sent to the workstations connected to this system, but can also be sent as real-time to other security systems such as camera management and card access.

DuetronVMS Integration:

Duetron FMS software is fully compatible with Duetron VMS software that provides security camera management and viewing. With this integration:

• - Displaying the fire panel information in the CCTV system,
• - Real-time fire alarm sending to CCTV system,
• - Automatic live viewing and audio warning in case of an alarm,
• - Moving PTZ camera to a predetermined fixed location as preset in alarm state is possible.

Real-time data exchange is performed asynchronously between the server services of both systems over the TCP/IP protocol.

Since the integration is completely software-based, the communication content between the two systems can be expanded specific to the project or system.

Access Systems Integration :

Software-based integration has been developed between DuetronFMS software and Bosch BIS Building Integration System and APE Access Professional Edition software. Within the scope of this integration, bidirectional and real-time data exchange is provided between Duetron software products and Bosch card access systems together with other subsystems connected to the BIS system.

In this way, it is possible to instantly transfer the alarms generated in the fire panel to the card access system and to activate emergency scenarios automatically.
