In addition to basic operations such as detection of cameras in the network, playing live & archive video, image recording; Duetron VMS can also perform detailed operations such as authorization, alarm configuration and remote management.

Software Features

Duetron VMS, which is designed according to client/server architecture, can be deployed and configured to many computers on a network. Overall system management can be done from any node in a network with user friendly management application.

The software, which is mainly developed for the use of Bosch branded devices, can also be used with cameras from different brands that support the ONVIF ProfileS standard.

For more powerful video surveillance and management ability, Duetron VMS provides an easy way to define users and groups, to make authorization on the basis of both devices and processes, to prepare live tracking scenarios.

Further more controlling PTZ cameras and using the system in an efficient way with integrated map and alarm management is possible in Duetron VMS.

Software Components / Functions

DuetronVMS software components :

DuetronVMS Server : Camera, encoder and recording devices on the network are added to the system with this software on the server computer. Video walls and workstations are also defined and managed from here. In addition, it enables operations such as loading license, operational settings, management of user groups & authorizations and uploading map files to the database. Querying and reporting alarm/log records as well as administrator level operations like creating integration scenarios with other systems are among the functions of this application.

DuetronVMS Service : This windows service provides communication between system components like server, workstations and NVR devices, as well as real-time data exchange with other software. As part of the integration, these data received from other systems are instantly distributed to workstations. In addition, functions such as monitoring the online/offline status of cameras, taking database backup, clearing old log records are also performed by this service.

DuetronVMS Monitor : This application runs on computers installed as workstations. Operations for monitoring the system such as live viewing, archive playing, control of PTZ cameras, querying alarm signals are performed here.

DuetronVMS Monitor Wall : It has been developed for 7/24 live monitoring on large screens. It can support up to 4 monitors. This software has no user interface and is managed remotely by the DuetronVMS Monitor application. Templates are prepared with different screen layouts and cameras and it is possible to display this template on the screen with a single click. In addition, salvo can be done among the selected templates with desired time intervals.

DuetronVMS Record (NVR) : In systems where there is no recording device, it enables to record the live stream in the video inputs of the cameras which is configured and assigned to be recorded by the DuetronVMS Server application. The application is designed to work 7/24, disk management is done automatically. It also serves as a video server so that these recorded video can be accessed from workstations.

Alarm Management :

DuetronVMS's alarm management module provides options on how the real-time alarm signals received from the cameras would be operated. Processing time range can be assigned for each camera and each alarm type. It is possible to automatically open live video of certain cameras as a popup window at the time of an alarm and also to move PTZ cameras to the specified preset. In addition, different priority levels and sound files can be assigned for each alarm types seperately.

Alarm records in the database can be queried with the parameters below for reporting:

- Device name

- IP address

- Alarm type

- Date/time interval

- Priority

•  Information(Explanatory text message can be recorded by the operator when the alarm signal received)

DuetronVMS software is fully compatible with DuetronFMS software that works with Bosch fire panels. With this integration:

- Displaying the fire panel information in teh CCTV system,

- Real-time fire alarm receiving by CCTV system,

- Automatic live viewing and audio warning in case of an alarm,

 - Moving PTZ camera to a predetermined fixed location as preset in alarm state is possible.

Real-time data exchange is performed asynchronously between the server services of both systems over the TCP/IP protocol.

Since the integration is completely software-based, the communication content between the two systems can be expanded specific to the project or system.

Access Systems Integration :

Software-based integration has been developed between DuetronVMS software and Bosch BIS Building Integration System and APE Access Professional Edition software. Within the scope of this integration, bidirectional and real-time data exchange is provided between Duetron software products and Bosch card access systems together with other subsystems connected to the BIS system.

Alarms received from the card access system are collected by the Duetron VMS service and are simultaneously distributed to all live monitoring points.

In this way, operations such as controlling card entrance doors and turnstiles, automatic live viewing of the camera looking at the relevant area when a malfunction or alarm occurs in the turnstiles, triggering audio warnings can only be done with the configuration of Duetron software.
